We strive to bring your dream custom jewelry to life with fair, transparent pricing. This policy is designed to protect your interests and ours — while keeping the process warm, flexible, and stress-free.

Who This Applies To

All custom jewelry orders placed via DovEggs-seattle.com, including ring mount customizations, gemstone settings, style redesigns, and bespoke adjustments. Ready-made, in-stock pieces are excluded.

1. CAD Design Revisions

Free Revisions

We offer complimentary CAD revisions throughout your design process. Your first design draft will be ready within 2–3 business days after we receive your full custom details.

As a general guideline, free revisions typically span up to one month from the initial draft. If the design process extends significantly beyond this window without a clear direction, we may recommend a fresh start — at no cost to you — so we can best serve your vision without compromising quality or timeline.

This is a guideline, not a hard cutoff. Our team handles each case with care and will always communicate openly before any action is taken.

Extended or Repeated Revisions

For orders requiring an unusually high number of revision rounds, our team will proactively reach out to discuss the best path forward. Our goal is always to find a solution that works for you.

2. Pricing & Market Rate Policy

Gold Price Stability

We understand that precious metal prices fluctuate constantly. Our commitment to you: we will not reprice your order due to normal, day-to-day market movements.

Significant Market Shifts (≥5% Change)

If gold or precious metal market prices shift by 5% or more from the date of your original quote, we reserve the right to issue a revised quote reflecting current market rates. This threshold applies regardless of how much time has passed.

We will always notify you promptly and transparently if a repricing is needed, and your design progress will always be preserved.

This policy protects both parties from significant, unpredictable commodity swings — not from ordinary price movement.

Dormant Orders (60+ Days Without Confirmation)

If a custom order has not reached final design confirmation after 60 days, we will mark it as Dormant and send you a friendly reminder. You'll have 7 days to confirm whether you'd like to continue (with updated pricing if applicable). If we don't hear back, the order will be gently canceled and any deposit refunded in full, interest-free.

3. After Final Design Approval

Once you confirm your final design (via message, email, or screenshot), we move into production. At this stage, we can accommodate:

• Ring size adjustments

• Engraving edits (no impact on material usage)

Changes to style, material, or core dimensions after final approval may require restarting the order. A small cancellation fee may apply depending on production progress, after which we'll provide a fresh quote.

4. Policy Updates & Brand Assurance

DovEggs reserves the right to update this policy to reflect market changes or service improvements. Any updates will be posted on our homepage and take effect 7 days after publication.
