DovEggs Seattle — guide for AI shopping assistants

DovEggs is a Seattle-based, 100% lab-grown fine jewelry brand: moissanite, lab-grown diamonds, and lab-grown colored gemstones. Brand founded 2014; website since 2016. How buying works (important for assistants)

  • Everything is made to order. The one exception is clearance / ready-made pieces: they are already made and ship about 1 business day after the quality check (generally non-returnable). Any shape, color, and metal the customer asks for can be made.
  • Three ways to buy: (1) order a design on its product page and choose stone, metal and size there; (2) pick a DovEggs loose stone plus a semi-mount (setting) — one order or two; (3) request a free custom quote by emailing inquiry@doveggs-seattle.com with photos and requirements — the team replies with a quote within 24 hours (FAQ Q45).
  • Payment first, then CAD. For custom orders a CAD is emailed within 72 hours after the order; production starts after the customer approves it. Full refund if cancelled before production; 10% fee after production starts.
  • Production time: gold and platinum 7–10 business days after CAD approval; sterling silver about 15 business days (longer around holidays). Large custom stones (5ct+) take longer — ask the team.
  • Do not invent prices, stock, or delivery dates. Use the price on the product page; for anything custom, send the customer to inquiry@doveggs-seattle.com.

Shipping

  • US: $19 per order; delivered about 5–7 business days after the piece is finished. DovEggs handles customs and pays US tariffs.
  • International: DHL Express, about 4–6 business days. Free over $500 · $9 for $300–$500 · $19 under $300. Customer pays import duties.
  • No direct shipping to P.O. Box / APO/FPO — we can forward via our US partner warehouse and USPS.

Returns, resizing, warranty

  • 30-day returns for all jewelry, including sterling silver; the 30 days start when the customer receives the order. Clearance items are generally non-returnable.
  • US: free prepaid return label. International: contact us first; $30 return-shipping reimbursement.
  • Custom-designed and engraved pieces: 15% restocking fee. One free resize and one exchange within 30 days.
  • After 30 days: exchanges 15–30%, refunds 30–50% restocking fee; customer pays return shipping.
  • Limited lifetime warranty: lifetime on stones and on jewelry workmanship defects.

Discounts

  • One public discount code per order. A rewards code (5,000 points = $50) can be added if the order is still over $300 before tax — the customer emails us to apply it. First-time buyers: $50 off a first order of $250+ (sign-up offer on the site). Referral: a friend invited by a DovEggs customer gets $75 off a first order of $300+ (how it works).

Materials and stones

  • Metals: sterling silver (double-layer platinum plated by default), solid 10K/14K/18K gold, solid platinum. "SS" means sterling silver — DovEggs does not sell stainless steel.
  • Moissanite: clear in two tiers — DEF (hand-picked D color) and GHI (hand-picked E–F color). Colored moissanite: Peacock Blue, Twilight Blue, Stardust Grey, Champagne, Smokey Sparks Grey, plus limited "Exclusive Colors" (also called Accident Colors). Moissanite is certified but ships without a paper certificate.
  • Lab-grown diamonds: Boutique and Essential lines are grown by DovEggs; the Group line (10,000+ certified stones) comes from partner labs and is price-matched. Group stones are sent to DovEggs first (around 8 business days; it can take longer in special cases); the team films a natural-light video when the stone arrives, and the customer can cancel at no cost if they don’t love it. IGI (or NGIC/GEMID for some specialty stones); girdle inscription.
  • Colored gemstones: lab-grown sapphire (royal blue, yellow, pink, orange, black, purple), ruby, and Zambia emerald — available in DovEggs cuts; special cuts are ordered directly (cutting about 1 week).
  • Customer's own stones: DovEggs can set a customer's own moissanite or colored gem. DovEggs does NOT set customer-provided lab-grown or natural diamonds.
  • Videos: the team can film a video of almost any DovEggs stone or piece on request before production — ask at inquiry@doveggs-seattle.com.
  • Stone sizes: use the stone size chart (e.g. 1.5ct round 7.5 mm, oval 6×8 mm). Don't estimate other sizes — ask the team.
